Biography
Sally Mole has a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art from Bristol and studied for a Post Graduate in painting at The Royal Academy Schools in London, graduating in 1991.
She has received many awards for her art work and has exhibited at The Royal Academy in London , The Mall Galleries in London and in many more galleries and exhibitions.
Her work is held in private collections.
She is a qualified teacher and has taught at many schools and colleges as well as teaching adults and young people as private students.
She lives in the beautiful, picturesque and historical town of Ludlow in Shropshire with her family.
Education:
Qualified Teacher from The University of Gloucester in 2004.
Post Graduate in Painting from The Royal Academy Schools, London in 1991.
At The Royal Academy Schools her tutors included : David Parfitt NEAC, Anthony Eyton RA, Peter Freeth RA and Norman Blamey RA.
BA ( Hons) Fine Art from Bristol Polytechnic, now The University of The West of England, 1987.
At Bristol Sally was taught by Alfred Stockham ARCA RWE.
Foundation Art and Design, from Shrewsbury College of Art, 1984.
Awards and Scholarships:
1987 The John Hullah Award for Painting, Bristol.
Sally was awarded The David Murray Landscape Scholarship three times, in 1989,1990 and 1991. She travelled to further her landscape work with these awards.
1990 The Windsor and Newton Young Painters Award from The Mall Galleries.
Prizes and Awards at The Royal Academy Schools all awarded in 1991:
The Arthur Hacker Prize for Painting.
Sir Frank and Lady Short Print Prize.
Dorothy Morgan Prize for a Composition in oils.
Andre De Segonzac Travelling Scholarship, Sally visited Italy painting and visiting the museums.
